I refer to the blog people I follow as my 'blog ladies'. After you read someone's site for a few years they begin to feel like a friend. Sounds moderately creepy but I would equate it to a character in a book. You get to know and love them, and become interested in their life stories.
As you can see on the right-hand panel, I follow a diverse group of blogs. Today, I want to highlight my favorite home design blogs.
EMILY HENDERSON: STYLE BY EMILY HENDERSON
Emily won Design Stars on HGTV and I came across her soon after. Her taste directly aligns with my dream self's idea of perfect. She's funny, smart, and her content centers around education. I learned everything I know about art hanging heights and rug sizes from her.

LITTLE GREEN NOTEBOOK by JENNY KOMENDA
Jenny was one of the first blogs I ever followed. If you've seen a DIY in my house there is a 50% chance it was inspired by this brilliant woman. She's fearless and will tackle anything- and then post the 'how to' so you can too. Her style is EXACTLY what I aspire to have....oh is that a running theme with these ladies? oops.

I could keep going here....she's incredible for the DIYer.
MAKING IT LOVELY by NICOLE BALCH
Nicole moved from a relatively normal home to a traditional victorian home in Chicago. It is BEAUTIFUL. I've been constantly amazed at how she keeps traditional elements of the home and manages to make it look like the 20th century. I find her brave to keep all of the wood trim but she pulls it off wonderfully.
